This frame was my reward for loosing 6kg, all ultegra, krysium elite, flite carbono, I'm guessing it is a bit over 7kg.

You guys are like a bunch of teenagers with body image issues.

Any bike under 8kg, and possibly under 9kg is lightweight, not average.

Yes, I know there are weight weenies building bikes beneath the UCI minimum, but come on, 7.something is not "average".

(Owner of a Scott CR1 that weighed in at 7.3kg when built...and I consider it to be a light bike!)
My bike blog. Long on rumination, rambling and opinion. Why let facts ruin everything?

Weight was about 8.7kg with pedals and lights when running 105, so now it'd be about 8.7kg :-D
Just received my new hanging scales. Not calibrated, or even checked against a known qty, but some interesting fun anyway.

Without bidon cages, lights, & pedals it weighs 8kg dead.

Interestingly though, adding all the crap that you end up riding with (in addition to the above), like Garmin mounts, saddle bag (500g on it's own) and a K-edge GoPro mount with gopro case (no camera though) and it weighs 9.39kg. I've gotta look at some of that and work out what can be left behind!

Cheers,
Dave

One of these from Chain Reaction for $12

I liked how it was tucked up out of the way and the cables didn't hinder the 4 LED blinky lights. I was pretty unlucky with durability though once it got wet. There was some issue with the contacts between the batteries and the circuit board. c r c replaced one and when the second went the same way I gave up on it. Someone with more patience maybe could have sorted it.

There are others of the same design that may be more durable.

Cheers,
Dave

Weighed when fully loaded. Figured I'd weigh it in the configuration I'd be riding it. So:

With front and rear lights, pedals, cages and filled water bottles, pump and puncture bag = 11.5kg
Without water bottles it weighs ~9.5kg
