Nah, waaay to small for Moi. Happy with my Bundy track , and planning another build/conversion for street use as we speak. You still gonna be fixed or moving on to gears and ditching the Fixed scene?kreyziest wrote:yeah, need to fund a roadieBRLVR.v2 wrote:Selling already??

This is actually kind of cool - MIXTE like with a bit more TestosteroneMugglechops wrote:Doing the Sydney to Gong on it next month so need some gearing. Campagnolo Shamal Track Clincher Wheelset, Campy Pedals, Dura Ace Cranks, BB and other bits...
Anyway, it was too big, which is why we had it set up as a townie.
I bought another Bike her size, swapped all the bits over. Fits her a lot better, and now I have a Hillman Roadie and her a Hillman Track. We will Strip it down completely for a lick of paint thats a little more female friendly and grab some new decals off Hillman.
Rad.
Hopefully once she's used to riding fixed from SS i'll get her out on the track. With some drops of course.

Project finished
Postby rtnicho » Fri Oct 19, 2012 8:59 pm
Specs
Tange 2 frame in British racing green
Wheels Open Pro with Origin 8 hubs & DT spokes (velomine)
Panaracer Pasella tyres
Campag veloce calipers with Diacompe inverse levers (works incredibly well)
Jagwire cables
UN 54 BB with shimano sumthingorother crank
48 x 16 = perfect for Adelaide
It's my first experience with fixed gear and it goes like a dream. Chainline dead straight on putting it together (far more good luck than good management).

Still got the Pursuit. Very under-ridden though. Every time I think about selling it I take it for a ride and really like how it handles and end up keeping it. Also I'd hate to see it chopped for a fixie. As you know it's getting harder and harder to find old steelies, particularly ones that have seen so little use.

Not everyone will like the frame as it's a Potential Of Hydrogen PH01 but to me I like it...for a first bike to own it is great for me...as it's something that I can use to learn off in terms of parts and maint...
A lot of the original parts from the PH01 are now gone and been replaced, still going to do a few more things to it before I move on to building my own "Proper" bike...
Well here it is hanging on a bike stand at work...

Hey i can see the bikes, the photography's good enough . When you have a spare hour or 10 just have a trawl through this thread and the bike gallery thread and you'll soon get an idea of the ingredients for a nice pic.whatsinaname wrote:
