Any decent bike hire in Tassie?I'm coming to Tassie on the 4thof Nov only for a few days to visit family, but was wondering if there was any decent bike hire there?? As having 9days off a bicycle will surely drive me to insanity.
Re: Any decent bike hire in Tassie?I'm actually interested to know this too.
I'll be down in Hobart at the end of Nov.

I've never had the pleasure of actually using any of these hire shops, but it's at least a starting point. Start of the week: improve climbing times, average speed and CCR points. End of the week: just get to the desk on time.
Re: Any decent bike hire in Tassie?Sent out a few emails, as most of the websites I could find had pretty limited info.
Will post findings as they arrive.
Re: Any decent bike hire in Tassie?Depending on what you're after, looks like there is some free bike hire available in and around Hobart.
Can't be booked, and is on a first in best dressed basis. http://www.hobartcity.com.au/Community/Arts_and_Culture/Public_Art/Artbikes I might give this a crack if I can't find a decent road bike to hire. I would really like to do some longer distance stuff though. If possible, I wouldn't mind trying out Mt. Wellington.
