Michelin did some car tyres about 15 years ago. They didn't catch on either. Funny that. I mean, they company invented a product that would ultimately put it out of business. How dumb was that?

Michelin officially launched them yesterday. After years of development, you can finally purchase a set of these ...if you drive a skid steer loader. They even have a website: http://www.michelintweel.com/

It might be a company seeing the writing on the wall, and wanting to own the new product that kills off its old product.

The tweel doesn't replace tyres, just changes them as it's still a product that will wear out and need replacing.
