Stripping groupo off bike and cleaning up for new groupo

Postby Saint Bastia » Sun Nov 04, 2012 9:46 am

Hi, I'm after recommendations with removing road grime and glue from tapes on a bike frame that is easy and non-harmful to the paint as well. Cheers, Bas.

+1, start with 10:1 citrus degreaser first, then strengthen from there if it fails to shift.

Mr Sheen is good stuff. I've even cleaned bitumen off my frame with it.

WD40 works well too, but wipeout off well before reassembly.
