Buying shoes in Melbourne

Postby Magnus » Sun Nov 04, 2012 1:36 pm

Hello,

I'm coming from the sticks to Melbourne for a flying visit soon and while there I want to buy a new pair of road shoes. I'm looking at Northwave or Sidi (but will consider most brands). Apart from Beasleys and Cecil Walker I am not up with what stores can offer in Melbourne. To save me time can anyone recommend stores in Melbourne that have a large range of road shoes on site that I can see, feel and try on.

cheers

Hi Magnus,
earlier in the year i purchased a pair of Sidi shoes from Port Melbourne cycles. i needed wider shoes and Sidi have the Mega fit on some models. Staff were very helpful and happy to order in my size when they didn't have it, would certainly recommend them, seemed to have a pretty good range. Love my new shoes, very comfy!!!!

cheers

Ivanhoe Cycles

Abbotsford Cycles

Both should have a very good range and will give you excellent service.
