26.8 suggests it may be tange 2 tubing. Which is odd considering kenevans is an australian based builder, and tange is more commonly used in japan. none the less, great frame!ben_is_fixed wrote: - Any idea on what steel its built with? It has a reynolds 531 sticker on the bottom of the ST but it only says fork blades, seatpost sise is 26.8, i thought 531 was 27.2??

Not so. Many Aussie frame builders used Tange tubing. It is good stuff. Easily as good as Reynolds and Columbus tubing at the time. It was used because it was cheaper.0atsy wrote:26.8 suggests it may be tange 2 tubing. Your track frame is a touch small, 53 yeah? Believe me i've thought about it! Dress her in a superbe pro track group, now that would be matchy matchy and a little OCDmunga wrote:Beautiful. Needs a sister
