Re: Bike Gallery
Very nice ride! PS - you can remove the cadence magnet cable-tied to the pedal crank and just use a rare-earth magnet on the back of the pedal bolt. The garmin sensor should pick it up well. Trek Madone 4.5, Giant TCR Advanced SL3 ISP Di2 (the green machine)
Re: Bike GalleryMy new bike... its entry level but very happy with it.

Not a fan of the Garmin mount #personalchoice It's a bit warmer here than Scotland isn't it!

Very nice bike ![]()
Re: Bike Gallery
The computer mount seems to be very far back. Would imagine it's quite a shift in eye sight to look at it? I've just bought one of the new k-edge mounts for garmin comps that put it out in front the bars. A great purchase and much better place to keep on eye on all the stats. Re: Bike Gallery
Thanks, is a lovely bike to ride, very comfortable. Yes, Vittoria Open Corsa SC Tubulars, very fast and yet plenty comfortable. "Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana" - Groucho Marx

Re: Bike Gallery
I prefer the computer tucked underneath my chin like this, too much data gazing otherwise, I prefer to gaze down at the front hub spinning............ "Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana" - Groucho Marx

Re: Bike Gallery
Almost hypnotic isn't it? I'm assuming you still have the chunky carbon fibre wheels? I'm curious about the change. When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments- Elizabeth West.
Re: Bike Gallery
Hypnotic, yes. When the road is open and long and flat I find watching the front hub spin up helps me get into a rhythm, esp. with breathing. I put a couple of reflective stickers on the hub body which catches the eye easily. I now actually own a trio of carbon wheels - still have the chunky Nimble Crosswind tri-spokes which are easily the most comfortable to ride on (shod with Vittoria CG Pave tubs) and the most stable wheels I've ever ridden - even with nasty crossing winds - probably my go to wheels when it's windy and I'm not riding bigger hill climbs. I also recently picked up an inexpensive pair of lightly used Nimble Fly low profile carbon tubulars which I've have just glued some fresh Vittoria Pave tubs to now awaiting a decent ride.......
