I went into this with an opinion and am now not sure what what to think.

Nice vid. I wish it happened like this in real life.

The filmmakers obviously like cycling, but that's a damn stupid way to express an opinion. It's right up there with "I really support girl power" by making a video of a hot woman in a bikini getting ogled at by a bunch of no hoper guys at the beach. The means doesn't ring true with the end.

My thoughts, hate bike thieves so was preprogrammed anyway. The riders was doing a few tricks but the whole production still felt a bit empty, missing something and the video story didn't really reflect the fimmakers description, I didn't see remorse or a turn of events that made the thief return it. There was potential in the original idea however it needs work to make the video actually mean something or have a point.

The bike thief probably took it back because of the creaks and clicks

also because he realised he was riding a $6000 mixte where the owner had cheaped out and not fit the $750 option for gears...

Which is pretty much the rub of it, isn't it? Somewhat similar to Fast and Furious (the heroic thief) or Shallow Hal... they are telling a story and the words don't match the message they are trying to send.
