With a couple of exceptions, the strava achievments tend to be made at other times.thepj wrote:Hey Guys long time no see, just wondering what the average speed is these days for tuesday nights? just i've noticed a few familiar names at the top of Strava listings so i'm assuming its rather fast.

Have fun. Wish I could go tonight, but I can't make it this week.Dirk.s wrote:Afternoon guys. Long time watcher of this thread, today I finally have time to come and join you. I'll see you guys at sunnyholt rd later on. Ps I'm Daniels brother, he's been asking me every week to come but I haven't been able to, now on the one day when I can, he can't make it...
Dirk
Based on last week's turnout there should be a few people. There were probably around 20 of us that started at Sunnyholt Rd.thepj wrote:Anyone going tonight?
I guess I'll see some of you at the City to Gong.

The secret to getting lots of PRs is find a place you have only ridden only a few times, and not all out (you don't get a PR the first time you ride a course, so I got nothing for the 200 km+ 3 Peaks and Fitz's Challenge, earlier in the year). On strava "unhide" all the hidden segments, and then go out and hit it HARD.
The M7 has HEAPS of strava segments, more than 80 I reckon. Of course, if you get some top 10 trophies, they're good too...

Plan is 5:30pm start (AT) circa car park, Windsor - Richmond loop while its light, then back for m7 cway, stopping for some dinner along the way. Please let me know if you're interested in coming. Probably won't happen if there's significant rain.
