WTB-Anywhere!- Tension spring/bolt for SunTour Cyclone

A few weeks ago the tension spring on my Cyclone RD snapped, i thought i had another derailleur that i could get the part off but i only have VX and Honors, which are different.

It is this model http://www.disraeligears.co.uk/Site/Sun ... 00%29.html , and i'm after either the spring, or the spring with bolt attached, as it looks like removing the busted spring could be difficult. Failing that, an entire derailleur is fine too! I'm keeping an eye on ebay too, but i wouldn't mind having more than one. I'd like to get my poor Mercier back on the road, she looks sad sitting in the shed with the chain hanging on the ground.

Hi, I have a couple of this generation of Cyclone Derailleur, but there are models within models. Can you post up pics of your derailleur from a few different angles, and a pic of the broken spring?

Well as Disraeli Gears says, it's still lighter than brand new Dura Ace, and i'm not sure how many of those will still be in use 30 years from now! .

These are lovely derailleurs and one of the lightest ever made. They shift beautifully too. I will have a look tonight at what I have. I think I have 2 complete derailleurs, but may not be identical as I think both of mine have the narrower body for the frame mounting bolt. One is a long cage and that again may have a different spring. I will probably look to provide a complete RD. They look otherwise identical to yours.
