you can see a fluoro yellow europa, in front of it is the recently acquired shogun samurai, then the vertex, with my mates completed giant kronos commuter (7sp rsx) in the background.
europa has been de-xenon'd and is being fitted with the 105 from the shogun, which in turn is receiving the veloce from the repco, which in turn is being fitted up with some lovely period correct superbe pro (some of which was originally on the raleigh - talk about teamwork!).
the vertex needs a suntour headset, and a correct fork is on its way from WA as of this afternoon.
europa, shogun should be finished, but i'm short on cables (as usual) so they're on order along with some other bits and pieces from wiggle. might ride the europa on raturday, might give the giant a burl before it goes off to it's new home. first world problems..

I'm chasing a cheap crankset, prefer not Campy nor Shim SIS not BB30, any length, any nick, it's for the Vantage when I pull the Shim SIS off it, 5 or 6 speed is fine, not cotterpin, sort of a bit open otherwise.
I also have a SRAM S500 175mm 53/39 BB30 in fairly good nick, didn't realise it was BB30 when I bought it, so if you know anybody who has a BB30 frame & wants a crankset, I'll take $70 just to shift it.

Thanks mate, not sure if it would work but I'll be pulling the Shim SIS gruppo off my Vantage tourer, they way Shim have always copied everybody it's highly likely the spring may be close to your broken Suntour one, once I get the RD off I can fire it up to you so you can pull it apart & see if it will work.

Just the worse one, my Vantage is my back-up commuter (I alternate between the Malvy Kenetic & the Vantage), so it's a work bike not a show pony, Dan's got a set of Sakae ones that he text me about, but they don't have any rings on them. Just need to know the BCD Danny, if Dan post's that, if anyone has some rings that they wouldn't use (not after stuff that's worn out), because they are cosmetically very plain, give us a hoy.
I do have a set of 130BCD rings sitting here so if Dan's crankset is 130 I laughing , if it isn't then I'll need some rings.
What I'm looking for is just a set that you probably wouldn't use because they're cosmetically ugly, rust isn't any issue, I'll just run a wire wheel over them & keep the chain lube up to them or even give a dose of chinese chrome.

Anyway, some please buy this, it's just too small for me but I'm still super motivated to buy just to have it because it's sooo pretty.

FFS munga, buy this damn bike, it would fit you like a glove & only AUS$140 delivered at present. You don't get the disc rear wheel, but after looking at the 650 front 700 rear set up, I think I like it.
