Nice riding guys. I think it's cold down there. Don't get too cold.

It is mate, but the worst of it was the crazy winds blowing us off the road near Charlotte Pass Friday afternoon

Great weekend guys :D the weather, company and riding were excellent 8)

Thanks to Greg for organising it, the unit was perfect (except for the stairs, ouch!!). Thanks also to the Spizman for the lift and for organising the logistics with all the bikes, great setup (wish I could post the pic) :D

Special mention to Sandy (NFS) for marching Donny, Spiz and myself to the highest point in Australia without any food or water or protection from the elements. HTFU indeed :P

I've gone soft too. Just ordered an 11 / 28 from Mr Wiggle. Particularly since there is talk of completing some unfinished business in the Bright area

I'm obviously not explaining myself clearly enough for some of those "compact" brain people. With a 28 tooth on the back there will be no need to use the small chainring at all so that can be dispensed with to free up weight to assist in any serious climbing. I thought it was just so obvious, never mind

Don't worry Sandy- even "if" you used the granny gear with a 28 you'll still be pushing a bigger gear than Chucky :P

Perhaps a "compact brain" is exactly what you need mate  What happened to the old NFS who rode C grade, climbed TG's with one up his sleeve and pantsed me on Lapstone ?? All we get from this new version is excuses, can't do this, can't do that :P A far cry from the HTFU can do attitude I've grown used to

A bit rich coming from someone who's curled up in the fetal position and hasn't turned a pedal stroke in anger since TG's. George reckons therapy can help :P
