Grand Fondo GC- event jerseys

Postby fionahills » Tue Nov 13, 2012 2:29 pm

Hi there
probably a naff question BUT here goes anyway:

Given that we pick up jerseys before this ride are we expected to wear them - what is the right thing to do??

I really like the jersey design- so no problems there

But if I wear it and I shouldn't I'll look like a try hard and if I don't wear it and I should I will no doubt be breaking one of the rules - there are so many of them!

Ok I know I overcomplicate everything but as I seriously doubt I will make the cutoff time for the piccolo I will have already used up my ability to handle embarrasement for the day..

Thanks guys :D

Unless they expect people to walk around topless before the event, I'd say it is not compulsory to wear them ;)

most events provide jerseys assuming the riders will wear them on the event - looks good on tv and so on.
afaik, it was compulsory to wear them on the bmw charity ride a couple of weeks ago.
some people wont wear them, but you wont look silly wearing yours.
take my advice - i don't need it!
