WTB - Anywhere - 3x8 Shimano trigger or grip shifters

I have an old recumbent that I picked up to see what I thought of it. I like it! But not enough to keep during an interstate house move. The thing is fitted with awful SRAM Centra shifters (yes, they work with the Shimano RD). The grips on these shifters has turned into this terrible gum that sticks to your hands like putty and needs a touch of solvent to remove. So I need to replace them!

I'm interested in anything Deore up. I'd consider thumb shifters, as long as they're indexed (hey, I'm cool with friction, but this bike is for sale, not for me).

Depending on the chainset/FD you are running you will need either MTB shifters, or Flatbar road shifters.

The only shifters with a left hand friction shift which would work with either chainset would be certain gripshifts,or thumbshifters...

I should have a few options kicking around....

Thanks Jase. I'll think about it, but don't wait on me. Are they both friction shifters?

Andy - thanks for pointing that out. It's a Sora FD, so road shifter, which complicates things a bit.

in that case you either need a shifter with left hand friction,or a set of Shimano R series flatbar shifters

I have a set of 3 x 8 flatbar shifters in a box from memory
