Plus, while the Rotovelos are growing on me, I really have my heart set on a Mango Sport. On the plus side, the current build is a little prettier (smaller one for my son), and the next should be prettier still.
I think I also need a unicycle...

I'm not sure I would fit through the crawl space - the seat etc will significantly reduce the available space. Also with the amount of weight on board, I think I would want a front brake.PB12IN wrote:Judging by the leaf littler on top, It doesn't get alot of use, thats a shame, I would ride that marvelous piece of engineering all the time.

Still trying to decide what scares me more, the ebay comment "Done as a home school project with my 12 yr old son. We're moving on to a motorbike now" or the fact that it previously sold for $142.50

Shimano XTR V-Brakes are about $70 an end.ldrcycles wrote:"Constructed with only state-of-the-art components", it has v brakes!!! Oh dear if i laugh any harder i'm going to do myself an injury .
They have fitted 'Paul Components' Motolite V-brakes - about $130 each end.
Still.... you'd think for that price you'd get XTR disc brakes....
FWIW - I like the paint scheme.

Great effort to make what may have been a sexy retro bike into something you'd be ashamed to be seen dropping off at the tip, someone should buy it, restore it to it's former glory & whack the current owner in the head for doing that to a bike.

The cut down handle bars make for a nice aero riding position, and would make it easier to store the bike in a narrow hallway or behind the washing machine........and I particularly like the neatly rolled up left over cable from the front brake as you never know when that may come in handy.
