Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DRe: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DThanks for the ride this morning lads. Was good to take the Viner out and put some KM's on it, rather then the usual West End coast... Great bunch of guys and some cool retro rides! That Kotter look ace Dan!

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DThanks Gypsy - nice to see another Viner getting around, too.
I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DCheers for the ride, boys, next time I'll have the Viking battle ready. Glad we got in before the storm!
Thanks for bringing the Europa along Munga, sorry about my ambivalence. If someone else is super keen then don't let my dicking about stuff you around. If you did separate the frame, I'd be interested in the 105 groupset.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DAlso have to say the old school Campy and DA brifters some of you guys were running are very nice, how hard is it to get a hold of that kind of stuff usually?
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :D
no worries at all, if anyone wants the frame, i'll let you know. pm me an offer on the group - derailleurs, cranks, brakes, wheelset.
usually you buy a bike with most of the parts on it, and then hunt around for the rest on ebay or forums internet experts: ruining bikes since '10 | http://www.redbubble.com/people/munga
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DA special thanks goes out to all who left without paying for their coffee, too.

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DHere is the video's from yesterday's Raturday ride (17th Nov).
I can't see a big difference between the quality of 2 cameras, so for $100 ($85 at present at the large office supply warehouse run by westfarmers), it appears fairly good value. I got just on 3 hours from the battery, so anything longer it turns off, but the weight is half of my other one, so an acceptable trade off. Need to tweek the menu, it's currently recording in 20 minute blocks, I think 10 might be better. And I had it aimed too low so you'll get a sore neck trying to look under the top of the screen, but hopefully I've got it aimed better now. Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DNice one Wal - I think the video quality is better with this one.

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DMy brother actually rode from enoggera to nudgee beach yesterday and had to climb up into the roof of a bus shelter to escape the hail.

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :D
????????????????? What the fark happened there?
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :D
I recall saying that i would pay for the 6 coffees at our table, which seemed logical since there were full breakfasts being ordered at the other table. So not sure what happened, but the 6 coffees at my table were paid for. Good as that shop is,http://www.cupcoffee.com.au/, their system of order first then pay later is likely to result in this sort of complication with large groups. Recent Favorite rides:

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DThat's what happened, Steve. Its all okay - everything that was ordered was paid for, and consumed.

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :Dwell i pulled my dawes out of its box tonight and i think vaeske's is a bit more suited to both riverloops and 7400 groupsets.
