The Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club (DHBC) are planning classic/vintage bike swap meet and festival.
This will be held at the Canterbury Velodrome (Tempe, Sydney) on Saturday 23 March 2013, from 12pm.

Apart from the Swap meet, there will be a Concourse event with various categories eg. Most Original classic bicycle award, Best Modified classic bicycle award, People’s Choice award, Best NSW-made classic bicycle award, ‘Crappiest’ classic bicycle award. The categories will be officially announced later.

At this juncture the DHBC is planning to also run track races and demonstrations.

Will provide more concrete info in the near future. Keep this date free.

already locked in. This open to anyone isn't it? If I want to sell/display/flog my wares, is there a fee and do I need to book? I spose this info is forthcoming, just asking :)

"Crappiest", I guess John has to win at something

Yes we plan to get sellers to book their places at the swap meet before hand. The Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club (DHBC) is doing this as a goodwill venture to enhance networking between bicycle enthusiasts and other bicycle clubs.
DHBC is not in this to make a profit - nice to break even, but not a profit if we can help it.
This event is open to anyone.
We will post more info in due time.
Regards
marc
