Re: Desert touring set up^^^^^^ for those that are interested, that's a Hanebrink, not sure if they still make them. They were around 20 odd years ago. Todays taller wheels are more effiecent and I wouldn't be surprised if the contact patch equalled or was just a little smaller that those, I've never done the sums as I prefer a larger rolling diameter.
I've got a couple of fat bikes, they make me tick...... Al
