WTS PER Vintage Hillman frame

Fifties or sixties (?? somebody help me here!) Hillman frameset with horizontal dropouts, semi fancy lugs and a nice original paint job with box lining that's in reasonable condition. Serial number on BB 4267. An exciting new project along with another already underway mean that it's very unlikely I'll ever do this one justice.

If you like patina, just clean it up and enjoy it in all it's purple glory. Or give it fresh new coat of paint. Seat tube 54, top tube 58 measured CTC. Spaced for 96 / 114 hubs. I haven't had the headset apart but it feels and looks good. Bottom bracket threads are in excellent shape. Has mudguard / rack eyelets, brazed on cable guides under the top tube and pump pegs. There is a slight woof in the LHS seat stay visible in the third pic. Also includes original 26.4 seatpost and Dunlop saddle, no binder bolt though.

The last bike I sold on BNA saw me with a queue of buyers 5 deep all willing to pay the asking - obviously priced it too low. I'm asking $120 for this one, very happy to entertain offers especially if they're local pickups PM or reply here. Rob

I love this frame, but it's way too small for me. I think it might have gone a little beyond patina, but for it's years it's pretty good. Redoing all the stickers and paint would be a challenge but worth it. I have a Hillman, not as old or ornate as this, but it's 65cm and I love it.
