Owned a '89 repco mountain bike ears ago but forgot the name.
Trying to remember what it was
It was aqua and black. 12 speed. Indexed gears.
Any chance of a catalogue scan out there?

Munga, you should definitely get that Repco while you can, there was one on ebay that sold for $160odd with one of the brakes taken off! Nice little earner there .

$98 + how much in after market parts?slimbolik wrote:My $98 Big W repco preset.
Plenty on gumtree, most people asking full $98 retail even though they where going for around $70 on special. Caveat emptor.munga wrote:there was a preset at my big w for $40.01 last week. almost bought it

New around here, obtained a Superlite today with from what I can tell every single original part on it, including the chain. Long time mountain biker, have always avoided the road, but time and family constraints mean getting a ride in has to be on the commute. One spin around the block generated a fairly large smile. I think I'm going to like this bike. Would love to post images but it's all to hard right now
cheers, Heff.

That said, it'd be a good buy at $300, not $420, but someone may need it that badly. Pickup only will limit the sellers market.

Looks identical to mine when i bought it almost 25 years ago.cray- wrote:Vertex, out of my price range, anyone from here?

Mine was exactly same colour and frame size, same Suntour Sprint bits.
But mine came with Araya tubulars and was 6-speed Suntour screw-on cluster.
So the one above might be a bit more recent.

Rob.
Mine has not been on the road much recently, needs a new headset.
The last big ride it did was the Noosa Eroica (July), all 109 km of it, including unsealed bits.
Make an offer, its only money !
but you had best be sure that she is the right size frame, it is a big one, only suitable for over 6 footers.

same frame, but your Eurosport has a better fork. Doesn't get much better than a Euro Tri-A.Crowz wrote:If those Victory Tri-A's are anything like the Eurosport Tri-A's it'll be a blast to ride. Loving mine so far.
well, if you don't count the Vertex
