looks like if you braked hard you would smash the chainrings on the ground. Very short/wide wheelbase.

I've been wanting to make something like that since the start of this year + a shell to get it all velomobiley. None too pretty but i'm told they get the job done.

Yeah, I'd like a to "velo" it up, but at just over a metre, its a tad wide...

Plus, while the Rotovelos are growing on me, I really have my heart set on a Mango Sport. On the plus side, the current build is a little prettier (smaller one for my son), and the next should be prettier still.
I think I also need a unicycle...

I'm not sure I would fit through the crawl space - the seat etc will significantly reduce the available space. Also with the amount of weight on board, I think I would want a front brake.

Shimano XTR V-Brakes are about $70 an end.
They have fitted 'Paul Components' Motolite V-brakes - about $130 each end.

Still.... you'd think for that price you'd get XTR disc brakes....

FWIW - I like the paint scheme.

I don't see what's so wrong with V brakes. Plenty of people still using them on bikes that are neither road or MTB bikes. Best rim brakes I know of.

Oh i love v brakes, i used them when i was doing XC, i found them much easier to set up than discs and better feel, but you could hardly call them 'state-of-the-art' nowadays.
