Hey guys! I have a lovely road bike but being a sane person and a poor student I cant afford to take a road bike to school, sport and friends get together's and risk having the bike damaged.
I don't want to spend much and definitely want a freewheel hub (or one that switches).
I have being looking at these but am not sure which one has the best hardware (will last the best). I would like to be able to change colours etc but don't mind too much.

did you miss the big red sign on the right of the page that says ' Front and Rear brakes included'. They're probably not in the picture for aesthetic reasons.

Try the search function, this topic has been covered many times. Read reviews in people's threads, there is lots of good info on here.

Get the Hasa, it's made of better tubes.
The other 3 are just plain gauge heavy cro mo boat anchors.

Reynolds 520 is cromo, though i can't find out for sure if it is butted or not. At that price i would have expected plain gauge, and given 500 tubing is plain gauge whereas 501 tubing is butted i would have thought 520 would be plain gauge and 525 would be the butted version. It's a bit confusing.
More on topic, i would go with the hasa too, there's nothing on there to ring alarm bells and the price is damn good.

Thanks for that, i had picked that page up but hadn't read it properly, it's clear now. There were a few links on a google search referring to it as plain gauge which is what threw me, along with the 0.

+1 for the HASA. Road one a few months ago. Good bike.
