such a shame it wasn't rescues 25 years ago.
now whomever buys it is faced with deciding on keeping a very rough looking original frame, or losing all of its history by repainting it.

but really, that's rubbish. We get none of it because the choices are illusory.

I see your point.ldrcycles wrote:Those are SunTour Power Shifters, they actually work quite well. But i was mainly looking at the V (or maybe VX) GT rear derailleur, Sugino cranks and centrepull brakes, i don't care what make they are, centrepulls are cool .
This one time at band camp I had a bad experience with stem shifters and it really hurt, so I tend to avoid them now (as I didn't manage to do at the time). As a result any bicycle fitted with such will be low in my opinion.

Don't know what you guys are so skeptical about - Pinarello are notorious for making low end junk with suicide levers & stem mounted shiftersrkelsen wrote:grantw wrote:Claims it's a Pinnie

Notice how the ad is worded sneakily so that if you come back later and say that the BB does affect riding performance, the advertiser can point out that he had correctly claimed that no riding performance could be effected with this setup.find_bruce wrote:Don't know what you guys are so skeptical about - Pinarello are notorious for making low end junk with suicide levers & stem mounted shiftersrkelsen wrote:grantw wrote:Claims it's a Pinnie
That bike has the longest chainstays of any Pinarello I've seen.
The ad would be slightly more correct if the word "Pinarello" in the title was shifted to occur just after the work "Orbea".
