Hey guys,
I'm a 100kg rider and have just bought my new Caad10 with Mavic Elite S 2013 wheel upgrade. Have done about 300k on the bike and today I noticed that the front wheel is already out of true. Is this normal for mavic wheels? My last ride had Fulcrum 3s and didn't need truing for at least 12 months.
Any thoughts would help.
(Ps no major bumps or potholes yet either)

A settling period for new wheels seems fairly common, methinks it has more to do with the individual build than the maker as such.
If you bought it from the LBS, take it back and ask for it to be fixed.

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
