It's amazing what they come up with though in the unfettered world of Tri.
Bike Radar wrote:The new Shiv breaches current UCI regulations in at least eight ways: the head tube, down tube, base bar, fork and seat post all exceed the UCI's maximum 3:1 ratio for tube cross sections; the seat stays are placed too low on the frame; the saddle nose is less than 50mm behind the bottom bracket and there's even an illegal fairing behind the stem

For those who, like me, for whom the UCI rules are not ingrained, via Bike RadarBike Radar wrote:The new Shiv breaches current UCI regulations in at least eight ways: the head tube, down tube, base bar, fork and seat post all exceed the UCI's maximum 3:1 ratio for tube cross sections; the seat stays are placed too low on the frame; the saddle nose is less than 50mm behind the bottom bracket and there's even an illegal fairing behind the stem

lammy wrote:Really nice frame, I rode the below venge on a specialized ''ride the best'' day a few weeks ago.
The most impressive thing about the whole bike was the frame in my opinion, firm and ridged yet smooth too, seemed to be really steady ride, not sure if it has a slightly longer wheelbase then my scott cr1, but it was an awesome ride!
I also rode the shiv pro below.... I never ridden a TT bike before, man it was faaaast!! Enjoyed it very much, took it an extra 5k than the rest of the bikes I tested, I wish I could afford one of these in my garage to take out for a quick blast every now and then. Those Zipp wheels were awesome, dont half blow you about though!!!
