New Sworks 2012 road shoe
Postby Joeblogs » Fri Nov 30, 2012 10:41 pm
Has anyone purchased these yet, I bought a pair 4 weeks ago and have to say I prefer the old version way better. While the new version are lighter than the old ones I find I now get hot feet, aches in my feet, cramp in my toes. I am going to go back to using the old ones and just put it down to bad luck and a waste of $400 odd bucks.the new ones are the same size as the old ones too.be interested to hear any other experiences

I thought about it (got offered a good price on some when I bought my Venge) but went some Bonts and never looked back.
Are the 2013 version ok for wide feet still, or are they narrow fit (like what Northwave did when they updated model from the Aerlite to the Evolution)?

I was able to have a look at a pair today when i was in the LBS but i can't say anything other than they are amazingly light. And damned expensive of course, i'm getting new shoes soon but definitely not spending that much.

Yes they do seen narrower and I don't even have wide feet, I have found riding in them with its warm say 33 degrees when you feet swell up a bit is when I have been having my troubles. I find the material they are made out of does not stretch so as the feet swell it becomes uncomfortable.
Was going to buy the sidi ergo 3 so I think I will ask around for people's thoughts on them

I have them in matte black. Only issue I have had with them was that it felt like I was riding on the outside edge of my foot. But this was down to incorrect wedging. Once that was sorted out, I cant even tell if I have them on.
I previously had last years shoes & I thought you couldn't get any better. But the new shoes proved me wrong. Totally happy with them
