Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )Hello
Is ebay still the best place or is there better places ?... talking about a full DuraAce ex group and partial 600 arab group in imaculate condition.
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )Tease! What price you after for the Arabesque? And what components? LFGSS cats know their prices, but if you are after the moolah, eBay US is the one. US prices for Arabesque is pretty good if you are selling. Do a search on completed listings to work out the prices
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )These are the two groups...
I was thinking UK ebay but maybe US would be better, not sure what I would ask for them. ![]() ![]()
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )From what I've sold, bought & seen on ebay, splitting the group will bring more rewards.
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )Yeah might be the way to go.
Shame to split up the DuraAce group though... really wanted to build up a bike with that but as I would probably try racing it, it would get trashed. Maybe put it in a box for a few years
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )How much would you ask for the arabesque stuff, posted to Melb?

Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )That's nice enough to whack in a glass case, on perspex stands!
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )
How does Au $ 200 plus postage sound?... postage would be 53€ (Au $65 ) as it will be about 2.5kgs. Cranks, rings and bb are in near immaculate condition... the bb is missing the non driveside cup though. Brake calipers are in similar condition. Levers are in very good condition...some small scratches on one but easily polished out. The hoods are original and intact and still nice and soft. Both derailleurs are in very good condition. Shifters are NOS. Also a NOS cable & mounting set. Plus I can throw in a good condition 600 head set if you want it ( to sweeten the deal Let me know if you want to see close up pics.
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )How much were you thinking for the ex group? May be able to help you out
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )Hi all
For those who might be interested I am selling a very similar dura ace group at the moment in the classified section . Happy to negotiate on price and it is in very good shape !
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )600 stuff is sold and received by a very happy Australian buyer
Maybe I will put the rest of the stuff on here as it was easier than eBay etc!. Plus I have a nice Cinelli frame with 600 gear sitting in western Sydney that I don't think I will ever get to ride.
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )
If my memory serves me correct, you're about my size
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )Yeah it's a 60 or 62 cm ... can't remember. Never actually seen it in the flesh as I bought it thinking I was coming back to Oz... that's unlikely for at least a few years now.
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )Any chance you have some pictures on your computer of the Cinelli frame?
Re: Best place to get rid of excess gear ( international )Not anymore... will get my mate to take a couple of snaps.
