Looking for flatbar friendy road groups in Brisbane.

Postby member054 » Sun Dec 02, 2012 9:07 pm

Hello all,

I'm looking for flatbar friendly road cycling groups in Brisbane.

Basically, through theft and upgrade my MTB has morphed into a hybrid and I don't feel the need for a road bike. I'm looking for group/training rides (or individual road challenges) on the west side that won't mind me tagging along. 2-3 hour rides, love hills and I average about 25km/h when commuting solo...

Thanks for any help!

I've not looked for rides west of BNE but there may be a ride you can join here: http://www.bbta.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There are a number of meetup groups that may suit you.

It would not be at all strange if history came to the conclusion that the perfection of the bicycle was the greatest achievement of the nineteenth century.
