Audax Tasmania's premier event, the Ash Dash, is on Sunday December 9 - just two weeks from now. Please let me know if you are considering riding. The start is at Salamanca Place, near Parliament House at 7am. I'll send further details to everyone who has expressed interest in riding next week. The Ash Dash is fully supported and is open to members and non-members. There is a contingent of Victorian riders heading over to test their legs in this year's ride.

From my memory it wasn't all to hard. The weather was shite.

Rode with taxman and an audax rider. Solid pace regrouped at top of climbs. Stopped for coffee and cake and a lunch stop.

I think we were 9hrs all up.

As a training tool I see no point to this so no wouldnt consider it also same weekend as state road titles and criterium., Not to mention the club champs next weekend. Has no interest for me only interested in rides/races that are interesting for me.
