I have found this old frame with "RR" embossed on the head tube, in the same fashion MS embosses the Stars into their design of the era. I have no idea of the make, can anyone help out?
Here are images (especially) shoe the "RR" - its very interesting to me.
and the stamp "2309" on the seat clamp sleeve.
Any help guidance well appreciated, I am looking into doing a complete bare metal restoration on this - I has nothing but a frame, so once again any help my appreciated in seeking the parts for my Christmas project.

Very retro isn't my thing so I can't help you directly, what I can do for you is shoot this topic over to the place where all the retro experts hang out, they're more likely to see it there.

early repco. built by (i can't remember) in the 60's maybe?

My understanding is that Repco used to outsource their frame building. The Rs on that one look a lot like the Rs that Bates [of Coburg] used to use.
The Healing behind it is probably the better find.

Repco Roadster, cool. I have started stripping it down etc today - its seems old, head set bearings not caged, not BB bearings either [made in England]. The forks have the embossed MS stars on them. I know some manufactures used to also outsource their forks etc so perhaps the Frame is made in Coburg [Bates] and forks sourced form Malvern Star (both Melb, logistically makes sense I suppose). Also, the Chain wheel has "ICS" cut into them (in the style of BSA) - can anyone help out here with the maker of it? and does this help more accurately place the bikes age/manufacturer? See here: http://cl.ly/image/3S2B443h0o2m
Last but not least - does anyone know the significance of the seat number (2309) - I only ask as it seem like a low number ( See here: http://cl.ly/image/3c2e3O3s1t47 )
There's a lot of interesting parallels on this thread http://www.bicycles.net.au/forums/viewt ... 23&t=54734 here, for example lube port non-drive side of frame, rear stays bolted, 3 digit number stamped on BB shell - so i think its the a closely similar bike with a few diff's i.e. head tube has only 1 R and the Forks have an R too. It may be a good source of info/blueprints to restore mine from.

Somebody would have swapped the fork in. It wouldn't have rolled out of the factory that way.
restoration is coming along well - I just still have no idea about the chain wheel here;
