I was wondering if anyone had any alternatives to drilling and screwing in mounting brackets and such. Mostly for a mini bike pump bracket.

For a frame without water bottle holder mounting points? I bought some of these Elite VIP Universal Cage Mount. They work, but the bolts scratched up the paintwork a bit.

But more pro - with a few each of these:

... you can attach just about anything to a bike frame.
I often strap a pump to a chainstay using a couple of the in-line ones.
