well there's only 10 or so guys out there who won the local a grade mens, so that's a pretty big deal in my book!

Need a replacement for Waz too, somebody outbid me on eblag (don't know who that would be would we, Waz?), while I was berating said person on the phone, we both got blinking outbid at the last second. Bugger.

But, my brakes arrived (finally, thanks La Poste, bloody frogs have a worse mail service than ours), 1 very pretty set of 1st Gen D500 Aero Athena's, beautiful except that one o-ring is white & the other black, the rear pads are Campy HBP comp pads whilst the fronts are OEM, so I either have to source another set of HBP pads or I find another set of Campy OEM ones. The o-rings aren't an issue, I know where to buy NOS ones or I can just match an automotive one to the black one.

I'm one happy MoFo, that means all the Benny parts are now here, just have to buy the paint.

Anybody want to buy a Repco Superlite & a Rezesa unbuilt frames, I think I've found another Benotto frame that I need to buy.

I can even nearly be talked into making a Superbe Pro gruppo (that was going to go onto the Superlite anyway) part of the deal.

The Superlite is not very (light that is) although the paint is very light, this was munga's frame that I purchased from him, so has sat it Wal's bike cave & hasn't been ridden (well not by me anyway), the Rezesa is a racing model (will come with a replacement quill stem, yep that's why Manuel is taking so freaking long to send it), also hasn't been ridden by me (as it hasn't lobbed yet), will be a recent immigrant when it arrives (last ridden in Espana) so has never turned a wheel on Aussie soil (you could be it's first, so get it's cherry, so to speak), if you don't like Superbe Pro, I have a Campy Triomphe gruppo here that I could supply in it's place.

Hurry whilst stocks last, this is a limited time offer, as all bets are off if the Benotto gets picked up by some other lucky sod.

Dan wrote:How many half built bikes do you have, Wal?

Let me see?

Giant OCR One, needs gruppo & build,
Repco Superlite, needs cassette/cluster & build,
Avanti ADX250, needs F hub (got the wheels), gruppo & build,
Schwinn S30, needs everything & build,
Benotto Ottimo, needs paint, headset, bb & build,
Razesa, not even in country, but should only be a build,

So how many is that????? :? :? :?

Lots.

So if somebody wants to buy a Razesa, Superlite or I'll even part with the OCR (I'm not going back to racing crits), I can fund the 2nd Benotto. :D :D :D

No worries you can always deflect the attentions of the other halves by just saying "but ldrcycles has 52!".

Still got my eyes open for more of course :) .

Na mate, nothing to do with the other half, she's happy enough that I give her time to herself (yep I'm an annoying pr1ck, but only most of the time), it's all to do with the pagan festival coming up, a mid 20's son with a race car, holidays in Feb, bills that have to be paid & really want this other bike, so I have to do the adult responsible thing.

If the guy with the Razesa just grew some cajone's & told me to F off, then I could use those funds to cover some of it, but he's cr@pping on about a damaged stem (which is clearly damaged in the photos) as an excuse to try to back out.

I'll probably pass on the other Benny frame & hope that it comes up again, I should probably build the OCR & flog it off to fund the 2nd Benny.

For me at least it's not parts that's the trouble, it's the time to clean the frames up and put the parts on em!
