A bit of pressure on the bunyin on my right foot but we'll see how the heat molding deals with that.
Length and width are good, very stiff.
The sizing wizard directed me to measure to my longest toe.Baalzamon wrote:YESXplora wrote:Just a word on the Bont Sizing Calc, GKA advised me that the calc doesn't work for 50% of people, if you have a shorter big toe than the 2nd toe then it's not going to be accurate. Bit mindblowing really.
If they could do a custom shoe for an extra hundred, I'd go custom. I was just outside the 41 Wide, guessing that a bit of heat molding would fix it up
I'm having that exact issue!!!! My 2nd toe is larger than my big toe, heck my 3rd toe is just a tad longer talking a mm longer than my big toe. I've emailed bont and now going to copy that info in as well. Already contacted GKA sports asking about Bont Commuter 1 wide in a 46 1 size up on my vaypors which I'm thinking about offloading due to toes being cramped
We'll see how I go,
Peter

Seems like there's a bunch of Bont online size chart/calculaters?Baalzamon wrote:So after my lil drama of my last shoes being too small, I've ordered from evanscycles Bont Vaypor in size 46 standard. Looked at the old chart and I'm under 111 width so standard for me.
Best of luck!

They changed their sizing a few years back so the older size in back dated stock will be different

Old style shoe fit compared to current one says the same for width. I think I had 112mm before and measure now is 108, checked it last night as it was down to 106 & 107 so shows you want shoes doing to your feet.skull wrote:Only use the current size wizard on the bont website for new or current style boots.

You got a code or something as the Vaypors are showing as $265 at MerlinMarkG wrote:Xpolora - if you enter 'xmas' in the code section when you actually check out, it calculates the discount.

(AT) gkasports as Mark has said you need to enter 'xmas' in the code section in checkout. It then displays the total on the next page before you confirm.

Three goes with the heat moulding has ironed out the issues with the right foot which is larger than my left with a prominent bunion (probably caused by wearing shoes that are too tight).
All good now.
Cheers,

Mine are going to undergo heat molding either until I'm happy or not. I've got new Bont Vaypor XC which I will return and get a refund for if I'm not happy with the Bont Vaypor's
