+1 on the Perl Izumis. Use them on longer distance rides all the time. In fact, I am going to buy some knee ones too after the brevet a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you for your concern. However, they do not come in white and are too hot. I have found suncream to be the better alternative for the mentioned body parts.
