Another chain question.....

approx how many chain links are required for a typical fixie ??

I know it depends on the size of chainwheel, cog etc. But just an approx will do.

Is a 103 link chain going to be long enough? Or would that only do a BMX?

This just save me having to wait till I get home late tonight to measure my bike.

Assuming it's not a half-link then, yes it should be enough...with a few spare links even
Unless your bike has really long chain-stays and a really big chain-ring

My four fixies have 94-96 links

Its just a normal size road bike (repco traveller) that I am converting to fixie. Chainwheels/cogs in the normal size range (46/16 or similar).

I will get the 103 link chain.
