I can't somehow see VicPlod letting those through to the keeper, impersonating an officer and all that...

Pity, it's the one hi viz vest I might actually wear :(
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

shaun, i doubt that's enough to be pinged for impersonating an officer. might catch their attention, but i doubt they could do anything about it. (i have been known to be wrong about stuff though)

Yes, MG, although some of the uniforms worn by private security firms come (deliberately) close too!

A friend rode an ex-police motorcycle marked Polite for years. I think he got chatted a few times over it...

The Victoria Police Farce will have you for defamation - if you are polite there is just no way you could be mistaken for an orificer :mrgreen:
