Love that video. Anyone else notice that the girl at 5:10 has riser drop bars? Never seen them before.

Anyone catch the live feed of CrossVegas?

Some seriously aggressive racing between Nys and Albert at the superprestige over the weekend :shock: ... that climb in the sand pit looks insanely step and the descent claimed some big names :shock: .

PS... where the hell did Nys come from :shock: :shock: :shock: :D .

No mud, but plenty of grass, laughs and smoke, Spooky CX finished the season for us last Saturday. Lots of pix here and some 'best of' here. Particularly enjoyed the costume fun and the SS champ race. Who'd go and watch horses?

Best last lap in a while!

BTW Jan Denuwelaere ( on the ground ) won the race in the end throwing his bike over the line mid crash, Stybar was relegated.

Came across some old cyclocross newsreels on the British Pathe site:

1925 Cyclocross...
http://www.britishpathe.com/video/le-2-eme-criterium

1920:
http://www.britishpathe.com/video/cross ... d-enduranc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

1966: complete with best quality pommy voice over :
http://www.britishpathe.com/video/mudlarks" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
1937:
http://www.britishpathe.com/video/versa ... -race-lner" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A search for "cycle cross" on the site finds a number of movies "cyclo cross" hardly any .
1.370" x 24 tpi - what sort of stupid standard is that?
