I have a genuine use for it (I ride with a vision impaired guy sometimes on his tandem) - but it would cost a fortune to get it back here sadly.
but really, that's rubbish. We get none of it because the choices are illusory.

Dreaming... Not the OG Campy Group, Not in Mint cond (like the $1000 BMX on the market) and the market in Old skool BMX is dropping faster than the market in track framesjimmy boy wrote:

Seems like the seller got a case of the sweats and decided to pull it - reason being:
"it was only ever going to get up to 1K and for that and due to that decided to hold on to it..."

Have had good experience with eGo depot to Depot is very reasonable. Only catch is willingness to pack, and take to closest Depot, at their end.drubie wrote:Who lives in WA and wants to rescue this for me?

Got a bike from Bundy recently for an absolute song, freight-wise. But the sellers have to be 'nice people' to make it work. They were.

Must have been a nice one to sell for that price.. do you have the link? There was a reasonable one in melbourne that finished last night for $24pentlandexile wrote:Did anyone here pick up the Raleigh Twenty which just went for $95 on fleabay in Brisbane? Yes Munga I'm looking at you...

I bought my first road bike from him. He had a garage and a hired storage shed full of bikes and frames, most of them were lightly used bikes he imported from Japan, or so he claimed.munga wrote:wow, he does have a lot of stock! i wonder if he runs a large shop and they're run-out or something else..

Was it good value? In hindsight I probably paid too much but I knew nothing about road bikes and he spent a couple of hours with me pulling out every bike he had in my price range and letting me ride them as long as I wanted. For a first time buyer the time and advice he gave me was worth the price premium I paid.
At the time I lived 10km from him so the offer of free lifetime servicing was also inviting. I moved interstate before I had the chance to try it out
And the bike I purchased has given me over 10000km of trouble free use so far

See what you reckon. I didn't think it was that great. Big steel rod attached and the stem is back to front. On the plus side it came with a bag.jools wrote:Must have been a nice one to sell for that price.. do you have the link? this is the one in melbourne that went for $24 - can't see much difference in the condition apart from the bag on the back:

That's an early one by the look. And seems quite original. I doubt it's been ridden very far.sunho wrote:Ooo I picked up an Apollo 3 but this is special...
