Boomerang Beach Rides

Postby bomber » Tue Dec 18, 2012 7:17 pm

Hi guys,

I am on the comeback trail from injury and hoping to continue my riding over the holidays where I will be staying at Boomerang Beach. Searching hasn't yielded many ride options so I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions? I would prefer smaller quieter roads but will take what I can get having never been to the area. Looking for 1-2 hour rides but will do laps if I have to.

Cheers..

It's a great spot at Blueys, I will be up there myself shortly. Best ride for me is to Coomba Park along Coomba Road. You only need to do a couple of km's on The Lakes Way and then the ride is great on a quiet road with only the occasional car. I think it is about a 50km round trip with a few bumps along the way. Not overly tough, but a good way to start off the day and undo the previous nights drinks. I tried the ride to Foster but the road is too busy and has no shoulder.

Enjoy

Thanks jd! That's awesome to know there is at least 1 option up there. That route sounds ideal for a couple of rides next week.

Just check what time the Blueys cafe opens so you can stop for coffee on the way home. It's a great ride to start the day
