R540 Pedal Removal - Noob

Postby Snagdog » Wed Dec 19, 2012 4:48 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm struggling to remove my 540 pedals off my old bike to attach to my new.

Do I undo the 6mm Allen key bolt or the 15 Spanner nut? - I have searched but was getting mixed answers

I understand which way to go (the pedal tells me ) but for the life of me i cannont get them off. I'm half tempted to just get new pedals and sell my old bike with pedals.

thanks in advance

spray wd-40 in there and get a decent allen key.
there's another thread discussing the same issue just today.

In an ideal world I'd be upgrading my pedals as well but I'm married and i work for the Govt. No pedals for me

If he's using the old shoes and cleats, why break up a winning combination? :?
