The Melville Fremantle Cycling Club is aiming to promote junior cycling in the area. We are looking for people who are interested in assisting with coaching/mentoring new and existing young riders, as well as contributing towards strategic planning for junior growth within the club.
Focal points for this group include:
• Organising regular casual group rides
• Skills and team awareness
• Educating junior cycling talent
• Organising junior race events
• Exploring avenues of fundraising
• Market the services available
Anyone interested in “getting involved” is encouraged to contact Mic Fic at micfic@gmail.com

Are you also looking for anyone to donate bikes or equipment that might suit juniors?

This is a very good idea.
The costs involved with cycling can be prohibitive for many parents. Having 2nd hand equipment available (bikes, shoes, pedals, helmets etc) would assist many new kids wanting to try the sport before committing to an expensive bike.
The club would gladly accept any donations that would make it easier for kids to get into riding.
