Hi All, Planning on doing this ride on Sat 29th December Head to wisemans ferry, cross the ferry and ride along the river and upto Mangrove mountain, then across to the old pacific highway, down to brooklyn , up past pie in the sky, across berowra ferry and back home to a well earn steak and cold beverage Start time at 7am from Rouse hill Trek store, approx 8hrs riding and a couple hrs stopping to eat so 10-11 hrs out. Usuall disclaimer, this is a hard ride so if you havent riden long distance before or climbed a few hills before this is not the ride for you, no real bail out points so no easy train to catch until about towards the end at brooklyn. Breaky stop at wisemans ferry lunch/quick stop at mangrove mountain afternoon tea/whatever you call it at pie in the sky Note: next long ride (for chucky) will be lower blue mountains climb every hill ride sometime in first couple of weeks of january http://connect.garmin.com/activity/18778653# http://app.strava.com/activities/31384151

I'd love to do this ride but can't make that date. I'll be on the lookout (no pun intended) for the other one, or if this one gets delayed by a week

My pleasure Tim, I'm gonna petition the boss for a 100% raise in the new year. What's 2x0 worth? Shaun

Yum Back on topic, I will come on one of the uber rides again soon but I'm not up for 200+ again yet. 100-ish and commuting is comfortable at the moment.

I'm invoking the three post rule Three posts in a ride thread means you're in. So I guess we'll be seeing you on the 5th Boogs Will be good to ride with you again
