How do you setup a ute tray to carry two road bikes
Postby BoardRider » Sun Dec 23, 2012 1:42 pm
I was wondering if anyone has any advice as to the best way to set it up to carry to to road bikes safely.
Thank you in advance

I was thinking of a bracket for the forks. There seems to be a few available not sure what actually works.
Was that a Pic from a cycling trip ? Park looks packed.

You can attach them right to the bed/tray, but most people I knew just attached them to a nice solid piece of wood so they were a bit more portable. Easy to find a way to secure the wood plank without permanent holes, too. There's a couple expandable mounts that work like that, but they're quite pricey. They get good reviews on Amazon, though.

One has it on the back of his trayback, and the other does the block of wood which goes in his VW Caddy Van.
