Lovely morning for a ride in CP this morning without the scorching sun. Just the right temperature too. Surprised to receive a few droplets on the return route. Trying to squeeze some rides in whilst my neck is holding up and before the heat returns.

Anticipating the heat I got out for a nice early 50 k this morning - just gorgeous at 6 am although starting to warm up by 7. Seems I wasn't the only one thinking that as there were lots of bikes out.

according to the official site, walking and cycling tracks are closed, but the park and road are open for traffic.

Thanks. Had a pleasant ride through and out to Terrey Hills but the heat sure ramped up around 9am.

I did Galston Gorge, Berowra Waters and Mt White. We skipped Bobbo on the way back due to the heat and possible closure. I still got 110km on the legs anyway!

Wet roads around the city south and east this morning. A few spots of rain but drying out here and there as well, mainly due to a pretty strong southerly.

Third day back at work this year and the third beautiful morning - hope this is the sign of things to come.

Feels grest to be back on the bike even if I am slower than normal - a couple of weeks and all will be back to normal.
