Potential Bike Build 2013

2013 is around the corner and I want a new bike...

Been talking to Erik up at Gear in Brisbane to get this happening...if it happens gonna make a nice trip to Brisbane and pick it up personally

To each their own...people may not like this set-up but I do and this will be more of a weekend rider or something to make you go Whoa or something...what do you think?

Frame Set

• Frame: Leader 735 - White
• Fork: Leader I-806A V2 - White (I prefer the slightly bigger V2 over the V3)
• Headset: FSA Orbit ZS-3 - Black
• Stem: Leader Shield Stem - Black

• Seatpost: Don't know yet...

Wheels/Hubs

• Front: HPlusSon SL42 32h - White

• Hubs: Phil Wood Track Set High Flange 32h Fixed/Free Rear - White
• Spokes: Black or White?
• Brakes: Front SRAM Apex - White
• Brake Lever: Odyssey Mono Lever Medium - Black

Drivetrain

• Chainring: Sugino 75 46t - Black
• Crankset: Sugino 75 165mm - Black
• Bottom Bracket: Sugino 75 Ceramic
• Free Wheel: White Industries Eno 17t
• Cog: Sugino 17t
• Chain: Izumi V Gold
• Pedals: Fyxation Mesa - Black
• FRS: Either Skin Grows Back or if he can get them the matching Fyxation Gates

Gunmetal colour frame for the LowPro?

Carbon curve fork with white brake will look out of place in my view.

Pay attention to the length of stem which needs to match with the reach of pursuit bar.

Still not sure what frame colour to get...

Originally this was going to be a White Leader Frame with a white fork hence the white brakes, but with the carbon forks I will end up with black brakes which will probably no longer be the Apex since I can get different ones (the Apex was the only ones that came in white as far as I can tell)

With the fork I want this one...not the curved one...

Black brake is easy...plenty of choices...

need to work out the frame colour first...either follow your heart or try a colour that works with most other parts (wheels, seatpost, stem, bar) you already got

Hmm phils with a wi freewheel…
Don’t expect this combo to run smooth instantly, both of these need and will take time to run in but once they do, sssmmmooootttthhhhhh. (I run the same on my sscx but with a kiss disc hubs- black with black spokes- and a 18t trials) Enjoy and I doubt you get the fixed urge that often with that sort of freewheeling temptation so available.

I am going to change the wheels to black spokes and black hubs easier to colour match the bike...it will be hard since Colossi say they can do any pantone colour dunno how much extra on price though...
