Colnago Artemis CW-50 WheelsWhat are your thoughts on these wheels? Ok for training? Too heavy? Are they tuff, stiff?
Re: Colnago Artemis CW-50 WheelsI briefly considered the Artemis wheelset when I built up my C50 frame 14 months ago - trying to keep the entire bike 100% Italian and hand made etc etc....... However, they were prohibitively expensive (probably still are) and quite heavy for a carbon wheelset (I think well over 1.5kg the pair) which is a tad pointless in my book if you want full carbon rims.
However, If you can afford them and simply must have the genuine Colnago item then why not, my bet is that they are uber high quality....... "Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana" - Groucho Marx

Re: Colnago Artemis CW-50 WheelsOpen Rider, what wheels did you go for?
Re: Colnago Artemis CW-50 WheelsLong story short :-
Campagnolo Eurus 2 way fit Excllent wheels but wanted to run very low pressure so opted for..... Campagnolo Shamal tubulars did not like the Shamals with two typres of tyre glued to them Sold the above wheels and now run a trio of full carbon tubular wheels 2006 Nimble Crosswind Trispokes as everyday ride wheels 2008 Nimble Fly 28mm profile for climbing or ultra windy days 2011 Corima Aero+ 47mm profile for something even faster I'm the first to admit I'm very unconventional..........
