So to reward myself for making it to the end of the Festive 500, just ordered a pair of Pro-Lite Bracciano's, to be paired with GP4000's - can't wait to replace the Alexrim rubbish on my CR1 with something so much lighter!
Anyone else treat themselves to a new toy this festive season?

No doubt you'll love those wheels mate - I've got the Comos and they are fantastic for me at my level and the roads I ride along. The Baraccianos are apparently so much nicer.

Yup, they are great wheels and tyres. Even better with latex tubes, which I found improve the ride of GP4000s. Much more supple, particularly on poorer roads. You will have to pump up your tyres every day, be careful when mounting tyres/tubes, and patch holes with latex from a cut up latex tube or a cut up latex glove, but it isn't a horror story. Just new habits.

I built myself a wheelset for Xmas. That was a present to myself. Very happy with the results.
