What is my best option for a $3000 carbon road bike(Give or take 300 bucks). I have already researched two bike; the Gian tcr advanced 0 and the Focus izalco pro 3.0. Please share your opinions or past experience riding a $3000 carbon road bike that i should consider.
Go ride them including more expensive ones and make your choice. I rode 10k bikes and settled on your first bike because it felt better.

The best option (for whichever budget is set) is the one that fits you and your purpose/style of riding.
Are you looking for an aggressive racing bike or softer touring bike?
What terrain do you usually ride?
Are there minimum componentry sepcs you're looking for and do you favour Shimano, SRAM or Campag setups?
Do you already have decent wheels to go with the new bike or do decent wheels need to be included in the purchase?
Most of all, it needs to feel right when you ride it AND also needs to be setup correctly for you so it will feel right.
It might be worth budgeting a proper bike fit in beforehand (if you haven't already had one), which should point you to the bikes that have more pleasing geometries to your body type, riding style and flexibility.
If we were all given $3000 to purchase a carbon road bike that suited each of us as perfectly as possible there would be a whole range of different bikes purchased - simply because we are all different.

Does it have to be carbon for that price?
For not much more you might get your hands on a Cervelo S1 - a much better aluminum bike with carbon fork and seat post than a bargain carbon only jobbie..... although it won't have the top spec gruppo it sounds like you are hoping for.
I think it's far better to get the best you can in your budget, than compromise on quality simply to stay under a figure - you don't really want the Hyundai of carbon bikes do you?

With that money I reckon some of the best options are a Giant TCR Advanced 0 or a CAAD10 Ultegra with great $400-500 wheels (RS80, Krysium, Bracciano etc)
The Giant 0 wheelset are fantastic, as good and as light as $300-$500 offerings out there.
I love the idea of Di2 but yet to play around with one, my next upgrade for sure!
Edit: Unless you want a more relaxed geometry, in which case Specialized Roubaix Elite Rivals are going for pretty cheap atm ($2200ish) plenty of leftover money fot wheels.
If you're not a brand snob then there are plenty full carbon bikes out there under the 3k mark that offer carbon + excellent drive trains, wheels etc...
3 that come to mind are:
- Oppy C6 - Almost full Ultegra. Good reviews, can be brought way under budget so room for upgrades. I personally right this right now.
- Azzurri Forza Ultegra Di2 - Reviewed here, I've had a test ride and its excellent. Its also way way under budget, so plenty of money for upgrades.
- Cell Carbon Ace, Dura Ace - Solid drive train, I've test ridden this also. Solid ride and fantastic drive train that most cant fault.
I bought the Giant TCR0 in April and absolutely love it. But I also have a Felt Dispatch SS road bike that cost $500. I love it just as much. When I first rode both of these, they "fit" perfectly.
I don't ever want to go back from electronic shifting. It's great!

IMO Giants are the Toyotas of the bicycle world, they offer excellent quality with great service will go as fast as your legs allow, they just aren't a Ferrari so you don't pay the extra $$$

Blew me away. But you would only get Ultegra at that budget, only, would love Ultegra because I'm a brand snob!
Hang on the "supra" was a classic! I had one a 84 model Supra. Flared gaurds,every option know to man,quick and very reliable. Great styling not like todays cars ie ford/holden all look the same. No plastic, just a really great car. Hmmm,gee I think Im still in love with it.
No matter what, a Ferrari with a 1.8 corolla engine in it, is more enjoyable than a Corolla with a Corolla engine in it.
Now back to the bikes....a LBS (Giant dealer) said to me Giant peak out at $3000. But offer incredible value to that price point , but after that the world is your oyster. And no I won't name and shame him, he put me onto Scott, BMC, Kuota, Oppy, Felt and Apollo.
Now seriously back to bikes...
If you have the mag check out the real flex data on the frame. It out performs nearly every other bike I've seen in their mags including most 10k plus bikes.

And on and on the praise goes then you have to think this is their 2nd rung bike at a retail of 4k.
Not bad for a Toyota......... Aussies buy on emotion not facts and figures check out some of the German mags that also test real data, you may find some of the other top end bikes are not so top end. There is more to it than the name and marketing hype. Hunt around you should be able to get a TCR 0 for 3200-3300. You get great wrty back up if needed and a second to none dealer network Australia wide.
Out performs if you are after a super stiff bike. Less compliance doesn't necessarily equal best.
At $3k I would be looking at:
I think Giant and Focus are offering pretty similar value these days. Better value than Felt, but Felt makes a fine bicycle IMO at a pretty good price.
I bought a 2013 Cannondale Supersix 3 which I can't fault at all. If you can stretch your budget a tiny bit more, I highly recommend buying one!
I've ridden a Giant TCR C1 for the last five years and I find the Cannondale alot more comfortable but still alot more responsive.
