Actually it's going to be a big month, what with the Alpine Classic and next weekends 200km Audax ride to Tallowa Dam. I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

I have an account but you are right - I have been getting the target thingy only. I have explored a bit more (mostly being directed to plugs for account upgrades). However I have now found the logging spot and hope that I can continue to find that spot in future as it seems to be well buried.
I have loaded a couple of rides. It is a bit more fastidious than bikelog but maybe the smartphone app is better. What it does give is of no use to my needs so I may eventually just give it the drop. If I had the option to use bikelog for this thread then I can't see why I would not. It was easy to update and it gives me a progressive total that I can balance back to my longstanding excel log.
Perhaps I will see some sense in it after I work out the reporting (again not easy to find, it must be buried away there somewhere).
Thanks again.

I don't see why you can't. I think norbs comments about how to get the strava bar was preempting the questions of how do I get the bar rather than suggesting it's the only one acceptable for the thread. Although as another note, in the settings tab on the the Cyclist Target Thingy there is a source option which let's you choose bikejournal instead of Strava so you should be able to set it up that way and just enter your bikejournal entries as you have been.ColinOldnCranky wrote:If I had the option to use bikelog for this thread then I can't see why I would not. Pushed myself hard yesterday and smashed a 98km ride around the cane fields of Cairns in a group. Got the obligatory puncture too!
Only 200m of climbing but average speed is about 24kph (I forgot to switch off Strava during my puncture fix) which I'm still happy with for a 3.5 hour ride!
The key is to fit in a couple of 30km+ rides during the week.
Seriously considering some Gatorskins now.

I dropped 15kgs last year so you never know what could happen
Got out for an early easy ride this morning before the heat crushed the life out of the day. Was a weird morning too, low clouds promising rain and then the westerly wind gusting strong and then disappearing completely.

Also do you know how to add the little graph down the bottom of your signature? I am a bit tech challenged.
